A Reflection
Twelve years ago, I opened the doors to National Custom Compounding with a vision to bring personalised medicine to more Australians. Back then, our entire operation fit into just 100m². Today, we’ve grown into a 300m² purpose-built facility, and while the space looks very different, our mission remains the same: to provide patients, prescribers, and partners with a caring, innovative & personally made medicine, they can trust.
Building Something Bigger
When I think back on this journey, I’m reminded that NCC has always been about people. What started as a small idea quickly grew into a network of over 900 affiliate pharmacies across Australia — something I could never have imagined in the early days. Together, we’ve been able to expand access to compounding services, support prescribers, and ultimately make personalised healthcare more available to patients who need it.
A Team That Makes It Possible
Of course, none of this would have happened without the incredible people who make up NCC. We now have a highly skilled team of 35, working across three countries — Australia, Fiji, and India. Each person plays a vital role, whether it’s in our lab, our operations, or our support services.
I’m also proud of the diverse leadership group we’ve built. Their expertise, dedication, and different perspectives ensure that NCC doesn’t just grow — it grows in the right direction.
Expanding Into Sterile Compounding
One of the milestones I’m most proud of is our move into sterile compounding. This was a major step for NCC and a clear sign of how far we’ve come. Today, we’re able to support clinics with a sterile product range that’s produced to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Looking Back With Gratitude
Twelve years is a long time in business, and I’m grateful for every challenge, every lesson, and every success. From humble beginnings to now running a thriving facility with an international team, this journey has been shaped by the people around me: our team, our partners, and the patients who trust us.
As we celebrate this milestone, I want to say thank you — to our staff, our affiliates, and everyone who has played a part in NCC’s story. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved together, and I’m even more excited about what’s ahead.
